Choose Your Product
Choosing your product is the first step in the process, and it’s important to get this out of the way before you jump into design.
Pick Your Shirt Type
Our t-shirts are made of high-quality material, so you can feel confident that your new shirts will not only have a great design but that they will also be super soft and comfortable.
Our available shirt types include:
- Marathon Premium Vintage T-Shirt―This premium vintage tee is the perfect go-to shirt for everyday wear. It’s soft and lightweight, pre-laundered to reduce shrinking, and available in a wide range of colors.
- Gildan Short Sleeve T-Shirt―The Gildan is a 100% cotton t-shirt available in a wide range of colors and is perfect for any event.
- Sport-Tek Performance T-Shirt―The Sport-Tek t-shirt is lightweight, roomy, and highly breathable. It also features technology that locks in color and prevents logos from fading.
- Next Level Premium Fitted Long Sleeve T-Shirt―This premium fitted long sleeve t-shirt is 100% cotton with a baby rib collar.
- Gildan Long Sleeve T-Shirt―This long sleeve t-shirt is 100% cotton, preshrunk and features rib-knit cuffs. Certain colors are made of both cotton and polyester.
- Sport-Tek Performance Long Sleeve T-Shirt―This 100% polyester long sleeve t-shirt offers maximum comfort with its lightweight material and roomy, athletic cut.
- Next Level Premium Hooded Sweatshirt―This hoodie is 60% cotton and 40% polyester with a lined hood and matching drawcord.
- Gildan Heavy Blend Hooded Sweatshirt―This hoodie is 50% cotton, 50% polyester and features a double-lined hood with a dyed-to-match drawcord, rib-knit cuffs, and waistband with spandex.
- Sport-Tek Performance Fleece Hooded Sweatshirt―The 100% polyester hoodie features sport-wick technology, making it antistatic and an excellent warm up and cool down option.
Pick Your Color
Depending on the type of shirt you pick, certain color options will be available. Every available piece of apparel has at least 10 color options, with some shirts having anywhere from 30 to 70 color options available.
Edit Design – This is where you can really get creative. Once you’ve chosen your product, it’s time to focus on the image area, or where your design will actually live. Marathon Design Studio offers several options for customizing your apparel.
Upload Your Own Image
Do you have a special image that is unique to your business, organization, or specific event? You can upload your own image in our design studio and print it on the apparel of your choice.
Add Art
Add different artistic elements to your t-shirt with our library of hundreds of custom graphics. Get creative, play around, and get your shirt exactly how you want it! Our graphics feature icons for sports/athletics, business, events, fundraising, mascots, monograms, and more. We also have a clip art library to give you even more options.
Add Text
Finally, once you’ve picked your artistic elements, you can add any text to the front or back of your shirt that you’d like. Show your team spirit, promote an event, or add a company slogan. Whatever you want to say, you have the freedom to do it with our design studio. We offer more than 20 font options and the ability to change the sizing and color of your text. Plus, you can even change the shape of the text if you don’t want it straight across the shirt in a box. Our options give you the option to make your apparel fun and uniquely your own!
Send Your Shirt to the Printing Press
The final step is to send your shirt to the screen printing experts at Marathon Sportswear. You can add a note before submitting your order if there is anything you would like to let our team know about your order. Once you submit your order, your image is transferred to our office, and using digital printing, your custom design is heat pressed onto your chosen apparel. We use advanced printing methods to ensure full color and flawless design for every piece of apparel, no matter how intricate a design may be or what the order quantity is.
